Refund policy

Rentals:

Returns and exchanges of rental Goods are governed by the Special Conditions of the Rental Agreement in addition to the relevant conditions of this clause that follow.

You may only cancel your rental order if you submit a cancellation request within 24 hours of the time at which you placed your rental order by email to info@thepiece.art. Your email must be clearly headed with the words “CANCELLATION OF RENTAL ORDER” in the subject line. 

If you cancel within this time period, you will receive a full refund for the Rental Fee associated with the cancelled order. After this time period, you may be charged a twenty five (25) pound cancellation fee and any other charges payable under these Terms and Conditions

Purchases:

The buyer shall have the right to return a purchase within fourteen days of Receipt for an exchange or refund at his/her preference if the item is Defective or for any other reason provided they do the following: (i) Email info@thepiece.art within fourteen days of Receipt stating: (a) Your Invoice Number (b) Artwork title (c) Reason for return and (d) Request for exchange or refund; (ii) Return the Goods to Piece in the condition it arrived in, via the instructions that Piece sends following your email; (iii) All Goods must be returned in their original packaging (which the Buyer should retain for the purpose) and must be in an unused condition.

All framing supplied by Piece is custom made to a specific purchase item. Any purchased item with a custom frame provided by Piece shall not apply for any refund or exchange.

Piece will not be held liable for any damage to any Goods caused anytime after Receipt of the Order. Piece will not be able to accept any returns of Goods that have been damaged after Receipt.

Piece will process and refund/exchange all returns within 30 days of receiving returned Goods from the Buyer via our chosen common carrier.

Buyers may request to cancel an Order within 24 hours of placing the Order by emailing info@thepiece.art. Piece will, at our discretion (pending shipping and whether the order has already been processed) either elect to refund the Buyer immediately, or inform the Buyer to follow the normal returns policy.
